MORE and more households are being protected from the danger of visits by Jehovah’s Witnesses.
   In Rotherham, South Yorkshire, Dorothy Banks of the Help Jesus Ministry, has recently started to distribute stickers on her local housing estate, and is receiving a favourable response from almost everyone she talks to.
She told Concern; “I’ve been out about four or five times around the estate and so far have covered five different roads.
   Most people I spoke to were eager to take the stickers, and only a couple of people said that they didn’t need a sticker to get rid of the Witnesses!
   “I now regularly get stopped by people asking me for stickers for other members of their families,” she said.
   At first Dorothy found that even when householders did take the stickers, some had not placed them on their door when she walked past them a couple of days later.
   Dorothy told us; “When I give the person the sticker I also offer to stick it on their door there and then. That way it doesn’t get forgotten.”
   Dorothy also found that the stickers had other benefits.
   “It also gave me a good chance to share the Gospel with householders,” said Dorothy.
   “I think the stickers are a very good idea and I recommend them to other Christians.”
